Store Manager - Timoni Slusher - 2008

Timoni has been a part of the Over the Edge Fruita crew since 2006 as a part time help. When we needed someone who was solid OTE material, very organized and a right on human being; we asked Timoni to consider working full time. Lucky us, she said yes. Stop in and say hello.

What takes you over the edge?     being chased by roosters. dodging bulls. powder days. class V rapids. mud between my toes. cold mountain streams. jumping out of planes. animal crulety. getting shot at. 2nd bottle of wine.

Whats your trick, skill or the thing that gives you an EDGE?    The ability to truly understand that there are just as many stories as there are people on this earth.  I respect all beliefs, ideas, points of view, and ways of life.  However, I don't feel obligated to like anybody.

 

Sales/Service Manager - Noah Sears 2006-2008

Freelance product tester, writer, racer and overall "big deal". The longest full-time employee of OTE, Noah can help you find the right trail or bike for any occasion. Noah just signed a sponsorship deal with Knolly Bikes and will be shredding the Mountain States Cup circuit when not showing visitors the best that Fruita/GJ has to offer!  His blog here.

Service - Derek Fish 2006-2008 Seasonal  

”Fish” came here from Vail in 2006 and was a instant part of the family. He is quick on the smile, excellent with the bike and even better on the bike. Our reigning fast guy Derek can be found on the trail before and after work most days. It is our goal here at OTE to make him eat donuts and drink beer... we'll slow him down! Derek is here in Spring to fall and drives Limos in Vail in the winter. Watch for his PINK I-9 Wheels on the trail on his new Edge 29er.

Sales/Trails/Resident Super Hero - Jari Kirkland 2004-2008 Seasonal

Jari just won the 2008 24 Hours of Moab, well done... again!

Our seasonal smiling face at the front counter and the toughest girl I know. Jari is a fierce competitor behind an ever smiling face. She is the women's record holder at 24 Hours of Moab and Montezuma's Revenge. Jari spends here summers punishing herself with Team Crested Butte in events that defy mere mortals. We are lucky to have her here for the Spring season lifting our spirits, as well as our fitness, as we try to keep up with her contagious attitude for life and her endurance on a bike. Watch for her in the Festival Bottle walk... look out... '07 is her year!

Seasonal Western Spirit Guide / Minneapolis Mafia

”you can check out anytime you like but you can never leave” You'll only find Simon here in the spring, as he guides for Western Spirit Tours in the summer and fall. But once you've been involved in the OTE/Fruita tradition as deeply as Simon has, you can never leave without serious consequenses... if you catch my meaning... and I hope you catch my meaning... Where in the world is Simon now? We'll see him this fall I'm sure
