Store Manager - Jerry Wolf 2005-2008

Leader of the pack... Jerry came here as a Mountain Biker, friend, customer in 1999 as a manager for Home Depot and became our store Manager in 2005. Jerry rides a Turner Sultan 29er, Maverick and an Edge MC 29 and every demo we have here at OTE. Jerry's retail skills and passion for the bike made him a godsend for Over the Edge... ”The passion we have for riding is why we all work and live here in Fruita... it's why we all came here!”

Service Manager - Keith Benedetto 2004-2008

Keith has become the cornerstone of the OTE service department. Whether it's getting you too the trail or getting your bike back on the trail. Once you figure out if he's kidding or not (if you can) you will get the anwers you need on service and on every High end Bike we sell; cause he rides every one of them. More Bikes than Troy? ... we'll see about that... Keith is building a house right now so riding has been a little sparse, but he'll be back and with a vengance!

Sales & Service - Noah Sears 2006-2008

AKA ”Skinny White Boy” Noah took a serious hit early last season when he tangled in a silly finish line sprint accident and took out his arm for a good 4 months. He's back and better than ever!  He just signed a sponsorship deal with Diamondback and will be shredding the Mountain States Cup circuit when not showing visitors the best that Fruita/GJ has to offer!

Service - Derek Fish 2006-2008 Seasonal

”Fish” came here from Vail in 2006 and was a instant part of the family. He is quick on the smile, excellent with the bike and even better on the bike. Our reigning fast guy Derek can be found on the trail before and after work most days. It is our goal here at OTE to make him eat donuts and drink beer... we'll slow him down! Derek is here in Spring to fall and drives Limo's in Vail in the winter. Watch for his PINK I-9 Wheels on the trail on his new Edge 29er.

Sales/Office Staff - Sarah Rarick 1995-2008

Sarah is well known on Fruita Trails, her Singlespeed and on MTBR. She has been around Fruita since the start in 1995. She can be hard to find as she is often in the office or on the trail and when she is at her other job she is a Certified Massage Therapist in Fruita and for the Maxxis Pro Mountain Bike Team. Watch for her at the big events and on her Orange Edge Singlespeed... and of course in the shop, even more so in 2007.

Sales/Trails/Resident Super Hero - Jari Kirkland 2004-2008 Seasonal

Our seasonal smiling face at the front counter and the toughest girl I know. Jari is a fierce competitor behind an ever smiling face. She is the women's record holder at 24 Hours of Moab and Montezuma's Revenge. Jari spends here summers punishing herself with Team Crested Butte in events that defy mere mortals. We are lucky to have her here for the Spring season lifting our spirits, as well as our fitness, as we try to keep up with her contagious attitude for life and her endurance on a bike. Watch for her in the Festival Bottle walk... look out... '07 is her year!

”you can check out anytime you like but you can never leave” You'll only find Simon here in the spring, as he guides for Western Spirit Tours in the summer and fall. But once you've been involved in the OTE/Fruita tradition as deeply as Simon has, you can never leave without serious consequenses... if you catch my meaning... and I hope you catch my meaning... Where in the world is Simon now? We'll see him this fall I'm sure

Seasonal at OTE off and on since 1998; for '07 Max will guide for Escape Adventures out of Moab. A Fruita local since his whole life; from local BMX kid when we opened in 1995 and now a top notch rider on the track, the road and an inspiration to us all on the mountainbike... look out Wade....

Opening this fall the new Over the Edge in Hurricane Utah is the shop that will play host to the world class riding in the area right out the front door. Gooseberry Mesa, Little Creek Mesa, The GEM Trail and all the ZION area stash is a must do the enthusiast Mountain Biker and they are excited to help you find it. As a life long leader in the cycling community from racing; road and dirt. Trail building in the area as well as riding with skills at the upper end of the scale. Quentin is perfect to lead the local cycling scene.

Hurricane Utah - D j morrisette 2007-2008

Co founder of the Hurricane Utah Over the Edge (right near St George just off I-15 only 1 hour up from Vegas) DJ is a pro racer with several Utah state titles under her belt along with a history if being a lead trail builder with the St George BLM. DJ, along with Quentin, are solely qualified to lead Over the Edge Utah as the ”home base” of South West Utah Cycling Scene! Stop in and see DJ on your way through the area, you can be on singletrack within minutes of the shop... she might even go with ya...

Melrose South Australia - Alastair Smart 2008-

Opening in time for the Melrose Fat Tire Festival in March 2008 (that's fall there)... this new hot spot in South Australia (3 hours north of Adelaide) has the magical feel of a fledgling MTB destination. Small town at the base of the highest mountain in the area. 200 people and 2 pubs with singletrack waiting just minutes from downtown. Well built singletrack with enough thrill for most everyone. I know I miss it everytime I leave (Troy)
